Haesun Kim, Founder & CEO of Suntransglobe Co., Ltd.

 

Ms. Haesun Kim is CEO of Suntransglobe Co., Ltd. based in Korea and Suntransglobe Asia Ltd. in Hong Kong. Haesun has a global experience and a record of accomplishments in international finance, strategic management consulting for Korean corporations, and localization of international businesses into Korea. Haesun has been involved in international business development and marketing in the Information Technology, Biosciences, biomdical, Multimedia & Entertainment, Energy & Resources, as well as cross border transactions in M&A deals. Haesun has been engaged in a number of government sponsored projects initiated by South Korea’s Ministry of Information & Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy and Ministry of Finance and Economy and KOTRA. Haesun was instrumental in raising 3-10 M USD for startup companies for international expansion. Haesun not only has strong analytical, negotiating and strategic planning skills, but has strong business ties with Korea’s leading financial organizations including KDB, KTB, Kookmin Pension Funds, Military Mutual Aid Funds, Aju Capital, CJ E & M, as well as large conglomerates such as Samsung Life, SK, Hyundai, POSCO, SK, and etc. and serving as a special committee member for stimulating FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) organized by the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy. Haesun is currently representing Chinese funds in terms of raising matching funds with Korean potential investors and deal sourcing, as well as representing New York and Japan based multi-billion dollar funds that are looking for resource (Oil & Gas, Coal Mine etc.) projects in Asia. Haesun worked as a manager of Documentary Credit/Corporate Loan Dept. of Korea Exchange Bank, London Branch for eight years and established Suntransglobe in June 2000. Haesun has a BA in French language and literature from Hankook University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), studied simultaneous interpretation and translation at HUFS, Diploma in European Economy at l'Universite de l'Ille (UK affiliate), accomplished the Advanced Industrial Strategy Program at Seoul National University, in Seoul, Korea. Haesun also acquired SCPM (Stanford Certified Project Management) certificate at the School of Engineering of Stanford University in the US, and completed seven other CEO leadership programs including Medical CEO Leadership Program at Soonchunyang University, Seoul, Korea and International Management Institute of The Federation of Korean Industries.

 

金海羡(董事长)女士毕业于韩国外国语大学法语系,于在校期间学习了同声翻译,之后在英国拿到欧洲经济学学位,在首尔大学校完成了高级产业战略规划课程,参加了美国斯坦福大学专案经理人认证课程并取得专案经理人认证(SCPM ), 参加了7届首席执行官领导人培训课程,包括医药业首席执行官领导人培训, 气候变化领导人培训、全国经济人联合会国际经营协议会, 并取得韩中亲善协会理事,

韩国科学综合大学院教授等称谓。同时,也是韩国企划财经部对外直接投资特别 委员会的委员。

 

曾在韩国外换银行伦敦分行任职8年,于2000年6月建立了太亚国际. 参与了韩国知识经济部(韩国政府机构)、韩国教育科学技术部(韩国政府机构),企划财政部(韩国政府机构),KOTRA(大韩贸易政策投资振兴公社)(韩国政府机构)等发起并出资的多个项目。并在多家韩国企业为海外扩张进行 集资时发挥了重要作用。在具有卓越的分析、协商和战略企划能力的同时,拥有着

Mr. Charles C Kim (Los Angeles), Executive VP

 

Mr. Charles Kim has over 30 years of experience, skills and business knowledge to plan, obtain, maintain and operate cost-effective and sustainable facilities. Past responsibilities include, but not limited to, preventive maintenance and repairs of real-estate construction, overseeing interior facility conditions, maintaining safe building operations, monitoring a quality control process, and effectively communicating between building owners and sub-contractors to produce effective results based on his experience and record of accomplishment in this field including residential commercial, hotel. Mr.Charles Kim was responsible for direct residential construction as well as remodeling, and dealing with200 plus sub-contractors. Mr. Charles Kim also engaged in communicating with government offices, regulators, banks, mortgage companies, and title companies. For hotel development projects, he was involved in worldwide chain hotels such as Hilton and Marriott’s. In terms of education, Mr. Charles Kim served as a teaching assistance for graduate and undergraduate students at the School of Architecture program at Ohio State University, US, for two years, and served as Construction inspector at the Korean Air Force, Republic of Korea for three years. Mr. Charles Kim studied City Planning at Portland State University and His graduate study at Ohio State University. He also has certified inspector for E&S inspections.

Veronica Y Kim , Executive VP


Ms. Veronica Kim is Executive Vice-President of Suntransglobe. Veronica has been in International Business over 25 years. She has been dealing over size of 6.5 Billion US dollars projects and  her business involvement was in business partnership, legal issues and strategic planning and management in fields of Resource, IT, Education, Health, Telecommunication etc linking North America, Asia, Caribbean and Africa. Veronica was also Founder/CEO of multimedia education company iESL. As well as founding management party of Education on/offline company Ottiya. She is a computer graphic specialist as well as worked for Munwha Broadcasting Corporation for multi-language news broadcasting and for National Broadcasting Corporation during 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, Master of Ceremony at Main Olympic Stadium and American Motion Pictures (AMPEC) as movie dealer. iESL, an online multimedia education program targeting Asian, European and American markets. Company has been selected as one of the most future influential company by Silicon Valley news as well as it has been selected as best content finalist during world mobile content award. She was also representing Korean-Canadian business woman and was invited by  Korean government, as well as founding mentor for Ministry of Future Creative Science Strategy.  Her education background is from UK, Korea, Canada and US and holds  a B.A in Business Management at University of Maryland and Technology Entrepreneurship at Stanford. Mr. Kyu Jin Kim, Director


Mr. Kim is a financial expert and accountant. He is currently serving as FAS Group Director at Dasan Accounting Corp, covering M&A, Coporate Finance, Capital introduction and audit of Chinese Holding Companies listed on Korean KOSDAQ market. Mr. Kim served as Director at Daewoo Securities Co., Ltd. Seoul, Korea covering IPO: Dong Yang Tin Plate, Korea Circuit,  International Corporate Finance(1987-1988,1994-1995); CHF Convertible: Kohap, Haitai Confectionery, USD Convertible: Hankook Tyre,Hanbo Steel, Saehan Media,Daewoo Heavy Ind. USD Bond with Warrant: Daewoo Corp. American Depositary Receipt: POSCO, London subsidiary: COO & Compliance officer(1989-1992)  London subsidiary Emerging Markets (1997). Ms. Huang Fei, China Market Advisor (external)

Born in 1982 in Beijing, graduated from Peking University, since 2004, she began to study at Seoul National University in Korea, received a master's degree in 2006 and a Ph.D. degree of business administration in 2011. Her major field of study is corporate strategy and international business, research areas as corporate governance structure, international strategy, business strategy between China and South Korea, national competitiveness and sustainable management etc.

Her project includes "Korean companies longevity mechanisms”, “POSCO 40th anniversary of competitiveness – International business competitiveness analysis", "South Korean national competitiveness" etc. She worked in S.M. Entertainment, Warner Music China and other well-known entertainment companies. She is currently serving as the director professor of CHINA MBA in aSSIST (Seoul School of Integrated Sciences & Technologies), she taught Chinese business courses in Liu Han University, Seoul National University.

 

Dr. Chen Qiwei (China)

 
Dr. Chen is Chairman of Asia Business Corporation, Professor of Antai College of Economics & Management Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Director of China Venture Capital Research Center, Council member of the Association of China Economic System Reform, Advisor to the Asian Development Bank, and a member of the Experts Committee for Corporation governance of Shanghai Stock Exchange Market. Dr. Chen has become the first Chinese scholar who earned the National Economics Award and was invited to serve as a professional advisor to Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. Dr. Chen’s publications are: “Corporation Fiance”, “Venture Capital introduction”, “Investment Banking”, “Contemporary International Capital Market”, “International Financial Management” and “On Exchange Rate of RMB” which reflected the main trend of the financial and capital market development during China’s economic reform. Dr. Chen is Professor at Jiatong University in Shanghai and University of Southern California in US.

Mr. Terry Pancake has been involved in strategic planning & development of business plans, development of corporate & business structure, development & preparation of regulatory SEC Filings of financial and legal documents, compliance with Federal & Blue Sky Securities Regulations, corporate & financial record keeping, reviewing, editing, and advising on legal documentation, structure of ventures, mergers, and acquisitions, real estate development and management, international business training and business management. Terry has worked as CFO of Floran International Inc., Corporate Consultant at Cryocon, Inc, Securities Consultant for Thermoinics Corp and investment banker for various financial institutions. Terry has a BA of Political Science at Eastern Illiniois University and Masters of Public Administration at Brigham Young University.

Mr. Alan Johansen has more than 15 years of professional experience working successfully with numerous enterprise customers & technology partners worldwide in sales, alliances, business development and other management capacities. Alan currently works on the executive management team for iPark Silicon Valley, a Korean information technology and business development center backed by the Republic of Korea responsible for creating partnerships between US and Korea technology companies. Alan has worked in advisory or sales management positions for a number of leading global technology companies, including Tandem Computers, Compaq, HP, Samsung and others. He is also a licensed business attorney and his software & technology experience includes developing and managing early-stage companies backed by Intel, Accel, Redpoint and other investors. Alan's educational background includes a Juris Doctorate of Law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University , as well as an M.B.A. in Marketing and a B.A. in Economics.

 

Mr.Bob Simkavitz (Colorado) 


Mr. Bob Simkavitz has provided guidance to high technology start-up companies such as Ishoni Networks, Amber Networks, Alopa Networks, MessageSoft, Salveo Systems and JooHong Ltd. Bob is currently CEO of FreelineUSA, Inc. a company specialized in survivable VoIP communications systems for government and industry. He served as Vice President International Marketing for ADC International (NASD: ADCT), and Vice President Motorola Multimedia Group (NYSE:MOT), introducing Motorola's cable modems and HFC Telephony products to the worldwide market. Starting his career with AT&T in 1972, Bob now enjoys 30+ years of international and domestic experience in management, software engineering, operations, sales, and marketing. Earning his MBA at the University of Denver in 1987, he has successfully led teams and enhanced profitability of operating units within AT&T, General DataComm, Motorola, Newbridge, and ADC.

Dr. Holdger Bengs is the CEO of BioAlliance. BioAlliance is a Consulting Company focusing on the area of Life Sciences (biotech, Pharma, Food & Feed, Agriculture), providing commercialization of research result, market and technology evaluation/analyses, business and financial support, financial advice, public relations, scientific communication and communication design. Dr. Holger Bengs is a Ph. D. in Chemistry and biotechnology at Hanover University and his thesis: “Linear Polymers from Bile Acids.”

 

Mr. Yi Liu, Legal advisor

       Mr. Liu has represented banks and non-banking financial institutions from the US, UK, France, Switzerland, Norway, Korea and Hong Kong in buyer's credit and export credit facility transactions involving Chinese banks and non-banking financial institutions, and has advised those offshore institutions in providing equipment financing or acquisition financing to entities (Chinese domestic enterprises and foreign investment enterprises) in China, (including the proposed acquisition of Unocal by China National Offshore Oil Corporation Ltd., acquisition of certain parts of Honeywell's business by Baldor Electric Company). Since the late 1980s.

Mr. Liu has extensive experience in foreign direct investment, having represented many international investors in establishing joint ventures and wholly foreign owned enterprises in China. He has provided clients with legal services for the whole investment process, including providing comprehensive analysis on the Chinese legal framework of foreign investment laws and regulations, analysis on investment structure, assisting clients in holding discussions with Chinese government authorities on the issues arising from foreign investment approval process.

Mr. Liu graduated from Peking University Faculty of Law in 1985. Even before graduation he was involved in legal practice, working as an articled clerk at the Legal Department of China National Machinery and Equipment Import & Export Corporation. In late 1985 Mr. Liu went to  the University  of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C., Canada where he studied international business law
